Experience
I have always been fascinated by human relationships with space (physical, mental, emotional).
This led me to pursue an undergraduate degree in Interior Design.
Eventually after working as an experiential designer at agencies for a few years, I realized process and research phases of design were much more interesting to me than finished products or outcomes.
During the dark Covid times, I was laid off and used my time to think about future career paths that could align more with my value system. My experience at the Moving World's Institute as a social impact fellow helped me explore my strengths & define areas of interests (inside & outside the social sector) to explore in the future.
I have been pursuing a career in qualitative research since I started working at Brooks (running shoe company). The best parts are the human to human interactions; being in the field (especially 1:1 interviews with runners in their home).
