Virtual Diary Study

The diary study was broken up into 4 parts:

Part 1: Identifying attributes in running that provide different benefits (prevent injury, make them feel fast, etc.) & Ideal running experiences/sensations

Part 2: Capturing impressions of existing shoes with ‘extreme promises’ (minimal, maximal, carbon plated)

Part 3: Sharing unmet running needs & thoughts on specific trends in running footwear

Part 4: Receiving feedback on low-fi concept mash-up moodboards

Concept Mash-Ups:

The intention was to create stimuli for runners to react to that paired contradictory ideas together, leaving room for interpretation.
